Annual Trout Derby and Icefishing Contest Gunflint Lake - Gunflint Trail Grand Marais, Minnesota March 01, 2009. 9AM CST.

Door prizes, fishing contest, food and fun. Anglers arrive and find a fishing spot by 9am.
Event is on Gunflint Lake infront of public access or Gunflint Lodge.

Event is 45 miles up the Gunflint Trail / County Road 12 by vehicle from downtown Grand Marais, Minnesota. Gunflint Trail / County Road 12 starts off of HWY 61 on the east end of downtown Grand Marais, Minnesota. Turn onto South Gunflint Lake Road / County Road 50 and go 1/2 mile to left turn into public access.

This is a full day outside bring warm clothes and boots.
